Top Ten Songs of ANTS 2025

Tuesday, Sep 30, 2025

The Colony has marched together to electronic music masterpieces all season at Ushuaïa Ibiza. Under the monolithic metallic structures, entranced by futuristic production, ANTS devotees have moved to sounds from across the house, techno, tech house, Latin house and Afro house. From brand new heaters, to 90s and 00s classics. As The Colony gears up for the Closing Party this Saturday, here are the Top 10 most played tracks at ANTS METALWORKS in 2025.

Chinonegro - Funky Beat

Dropping in May 2025, this addictive, bongo-led tune arrived just in time to make it into sets across the entire Season. The rising Peruvian producer signed to 8bit Records and released “Funky Beat” as part of his groove-rich debut EP on the imprint, Music Is Passion. The international love for this record bodes well for Chinonegro’s future.

David Penn, Crust, Kadoc - The Night Train (Ilario Alicante Remix)

A fresh reimagining of a much-loved record from 1995. “The Night Train” by Kadoc set the house scene ablaze when it came out three decades ago. This year, Italian techno king Ilario Alicante worked his magic and it sounds as crisp as ever. Not bad for a record older than most of the people on the dancefloor.

Green Velvet - La La Land

Where do we start with “La La Land”? This hefty, fuzzed-out 2001 release from a Chicago pioneer has been filling dancefloors since it came out. A DJ who has been innovating since 91, Green Velvet played at the ANTS METALWORKS Opening Party back in May and this song has possessed dancers all summer since then.

Max Dean, Luke Dean, Locky - Can’t Decide (Extended)

This deep, tech house rumbler has captivated crowds under Ibizan skies every Saturday. When “Can’t Decide” came out in May on Max Dean’s own neXup recz, it hit the scene like a meteorite. The Canadian DJ went on to play two blinding sets at ANTS METALWORKS this Season.

The Chemical Brothers - Do It Again

It’s no surprise that The Chems are in the Top 10. The duo are luminaries across all shades of electronic music, and still shape the sounds we make and dance to today, over 30 years after their formation. 2007’s “Do It Again” is a timeless thumper that still packs a gut-punch.

Stef Davidse - P Power

Dutch DJ Stef Davidse released this brash banger on Jamie Jone’s HOTTRAX back in February. It’s his first output with the acclaimed label and with nods to rave classics in the production and an intoxicating bassline it’s easy to see why DJs at ANTS couldn’t stop spinning it this year.

Danny Tenaglia, Celeda - Music is the Answer

The classics are the classics for a reason. When Brooklyn’s very own Danny Tenaglia released the euphoric “Music Is The Answer” with singer Celeda in 1998, it would have been impossible to know how impactful it would be. A song that still ignites the dancefloor all these years later; a DJ’s secret weapon that is sure to lift the crowd skywards.

Fred Again.., Skrillex, Four Tet - Baby again..

A mesmerising 2023 groover that has been a staple in tech house and house sets since it dropped. “Baby Again..” is a progressive, bass-heavy voyage that showcases the three electronic music titans at the top of their game.

CHLOÉ CAILLET, LUKE ALESSI, JOYCELYN BROWN - THE ONE

Released on her 2023 Intro EP, “The One” sees Chloé Caillet blend infectious grooves with soulful vocals and deep basslines - a perfect showcase of her signature genre-blurring style. A standout on underground dancefloors and one of the most-played tracks at ANTS this season.

YOUniverse, Beltran - Still Pushin’

A razor sharp, deep tech reworking of Salt-n-Pepa’s 1986 hit “Push It”. Last year, Italian duo YOUniverse joined forces with Brazilian spinner Beltran to breathe new energy into the pop rap banger, and it was one of the most played tracks of this year’s Season.

If this Top 10 has got you craving The Colony, then your final chance to experience ANTS METALWORKS is at the Closing Party on 4th October. The lineup is: Andrea Oliva B2B Franky Wah, Chelina Manuhutu B2B Mason Collective, HoneyLuv, Max Dean B2B Sosa, Nic Fanciulli B2B Joris Voorn, and Raul Rodriguez.
