The History of Ants

ANTS began in 2013 at Ushuaïa Ibiza as a party for the workers community on the island. With a focus on a diverse lineup and cutting-edge sounds, their mission was to give back to the people who help make the island function during the crazy summer months. ANTS has maintained its residency from early afternoon until midnight each Saturday during the season from that day on.

Over the past decade, ANTS has developed into one of the most successful events on the White Isle and has evolved into an international brand, bringing the genre-defying sounds of ANTS to the world.

Our international expansion has seen ANTS hosting events and stages at the world’s leading clubs and festivals, including Printworks, Fabrik, Tomorrowland, Snowbombing, Extrema Outdoor, Miami Music Week, Dreamfields Festival, Zamna Tulum and many more.

ANTS prides itself on a diverse, forward-thinking music program featuring cutting-edge artists, stars of tomorrow and scene innovators showcasing credible club sounds.

Breath-taking production-levels and innovative audio-visuals are synonymous with ANTS events, from the Fritz Lang-inspired Metropolis to the sci-fi B-movie spectacular that was the ANTS Invasion. Each year the ANTS experience features jaw-dropping production to take you into another dimension.

In 2023, ANTS celebrated a decade at the top with ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG, welcoming a host of new talent to join lineups and selecting our inaugural ANTS: NEXT GEN competition winner.

ANTS enters 2024 focused firmly on the future. Kicking off with two day-into-night events across Ushuaïa & Hï Ibiza, ANTS will run for an enhanced 23-week season every Saturday this summer.
