ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG STARTED WITH A BANG

ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG started with the biggest of bangs on Saturday, May 6th as the colony took over Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza for the first chapter of our blockbuster trilogy of day-into-night events.

The biggest opening party on the island saw Ushuaïa Ibiza’s iconic open-air stage host a colossal three-tiered birthday cake looming over the crowd. The imposing structure, which was covered in ANTS, had a DJ booth in the middle that housed a spectacular lineup of ANTS residents, special guests and rising stars.

With a renewed focus on emerging artists for ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG, the much anticipated Oden & Fatzo got the day off to an incredible start with their incendiary live set. Following them, Ida Engberg brought an electrifying energy, as her groove-driven house and techno selections sent the daytime vibes into the stratosphere.

ANTS stalwarts Davide Squillace and Matthias Tanzmann joined forces for a blistering B2B that took the vibe in a clubbier direction to match the darkening Ibiza skies before Frankie Wah took over with a seamless blend of tech house and melodic house.

Longtime ANTS favourite Kölsch concluded the party at Ushuaïa Ibiza with a melodic masterpiece, taking the colony on a rollercoaster ride through his impressive catalogue of hits and dANTSfloor favourites.

When the last blasts of pyro faded into the night, the colony marched into Hï Ibiza to continue our music marathon.

As ANTS visuals swarmed the screens in the Theatre, HoneyLuv heated the dancefloor up with her West Coast house selections before Wade kicked things up a gear with a tech house masterclass.

The party got even wilder as the infamous Solardo took over the booth, bringing their signature big room rollers to get the colony jumping. Finally, our dedicated ANTS residents Andrea Oliva and Nic Fanciulli, joined forces for a B2B that encapsulated the essence and forward-momentum of ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG.

Over in the Club Room, Francisco Allendes brought the ANTS RADIO SHOW experience to life, delivering colony favourites and the very freshest underground sounds. Fellow resident Chelina Manuhutu followed with a set that skillfully transitioned from groove-led house to powerful techno.

Lastly, UK tastemakers Patrick Topping and Eats Everything brought the Club Room to a fever pitch, with Patrick delivering a typically varied set, including his brand new club anthem “Make Me Happy”, followed by the unstoppable rave energy of Eats Everything, which brought the night to a fitting climax and part one of our epic trilogy came to an end.
