ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG CLOSING PARTY

ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG at Ushuaïa Ibiza has been a whirlwind ride through the best underground and tech house music, boundary-pushing residents, world-renowned special guests, the most exciting rising stars and giant birthday cakes.

Celebrating a decade at the top all summer long, with the Colony out in full force, has made our 10th birthday even more special. As the time came for our last ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG celebration at our spiritual home of Ushuaïa Ibiza, we pulled out all the stops to showcase the future sound of ANTS.

As black-clad dancers filled Ushuaïa Ibiza’s iconic poolside dancefloor for the final time in 2023, the sounds of Fleur Shore emanated from our enormous ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG birthday cake booth.

Next up was a live performance from the French group Oden & Fatzo. The spacesuited trio played the ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG Opening Party in May, so their set at the Closing Party was the perfect bookend to a season that saw ANTS go from strength to strength.

Energy levels on the dancefloor kicked up a gear with a blistering B2B from two of our incredible ANTS residents. Dutch queen of groove Chelina Manuhutu joined forces with respected London selector SYREETA. Both artists have delivered exceptional performances throughout the season at ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG, so anticipation for their team-up was at an all time high.

Another highly anticipated B2B followed, as two unique styles combined for an exploration of underground music when ANTS resident Nic Fanciulli teamed with Eddy M. Nic’s prowess behind the decks has cemented his legacy as a figurehead of the scene and the techy rollers of Italian producer and DJ Eddy M proved an inspired complement to Nic’s style.

Who better to close out our final ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG event than our ANTS original, Andrea Oliva? The Swiss selector has been with ANTS since day one and is a firmly established Colony favourite. Nobody knows how to make the Colony move quite like Andrea.

To mark such a historic occasion, Andrea invited Spanish techno figurehead Paco Osuna to join him in the booth for a high-octane B2B. The two icons of underground music fed off each other’s energy and brought the entire dancefloor along for the ride.

As fireworks filled the Ibizan sky, ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG came to an end. Thank you to everyone who celebrated a decade of ANTS with us this summer. Our most ambitious residency yet has been an epic adventure the entire ANTS family will cherish forever.
